Systemic antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections of the skin
ZORALIN 200 MG is a systemic antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes, dermatophyte infections of the skin or fingernails, and candidiasis. Zoralin contains ketoconazole, which primarily works by inhibiting the enzyme cytochrome P450 14α-demethylase (P45014DM). This enzyme plays a key role in the sterol biosynthesis pathway that converts lanosterol into ergosterol.
