Clindamycin gel is an antibiotic in gel form that is applied to the skin to treat acne (acne vulgaris). It works by inhibiting the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria responsible for inflammation and acne formation. The medication interferes with bacterial protein synthesis, thereby reducing infection and helping acne heal faster.

How to Use

• Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected (acne-prone) area once or twice daily after cleansing the skin, as directed by your doctor.
• Avoid contact with open wounds, eyes, mouth, and the inside of the nose.
• Use only as prescribed to prevent bacterial resistance.

Common side effects: dry skin, redness, mild burning sensation, or peeling.

Stop using the product and seek medical attention immediately if you experience severe irritation, prolonged diarrhea, or a serious allergic reaction.
